Frequently Asked Questions

Players must have turned the age of the league they are in by the time they play in a match. For example: The ladies league is over 40s so if a female player turns 40 during a season they can only play in the matches on or after the day they turn 40. For more detailed rules on players please read the League Rules.

A player can only play for one team in the same league on a match day. However a player can play 'up' for a team in a higher division throughout the season up to twice (before having to stay in that division), providing they are registered appropriately on The Whole Game System prior to each match.

Players can play in more than one league e.g. they can play in the over 50s league and the over 60s league, even if they are on the same day.

Yes. All leagues require teams to be affiliated with their county FA. For more detailed rules on elegibility please read the League Rules.

There is a registration fee of £40 per team per season. This must be paid on registration.

The match fee is £40 per team per match, payable at the beginning of the month. Teams who have not paid may not be allowed to play on the day.

The maximum squad size for each team for a 6-a-side match day is 9. You can have as many players as you want play throughout the season but they must be registered for that team appropriately on The Whole Game System prior to each match. Yes. All referees are qualified and experienced.

Yes. There are changing facilities in the main building.

All players and spectators entering the pitches MUST be wearing small moulded boots or astroturf boots. Trainers, metal studs, blades and other footwear is not permitted on the pitches. Players without the correct footwear will not be allowed to play in a match. For more detailed rules on players' equipment please read the League Rules.

Yes. Spectators are allowed. If they enter the pitch area they MUST have the correct footwear on. 

Dogs are allowed outside the fenced pitches. Dogs are NOT allowed on the pitches.

Yes there is plenty of parking including undercover parking near the main building.

Parking is free.

Please note that parking is NOT allowed on the road outside the pitches. Cars parked there may be removed and/or a penalty issued.
