The 50s ‘Cubs’ have been promoted for the second season running after only moving up to Division 1 in Autumn last year.
The Cubs have grown from strength to strength, and after missing out by a couple of points to the winners of Division 1 (Farnham Flares) will find themselves in The Championship division of the Thames Valley Walking Football League from next month.
This team have excelled with their spirit and determination to play and work together as a team. We have been fortunate to have welcomed Doug to the team, who has been an avid scorer this season.
We look forward to the challenge that The Championship will bring.
We would also like to wish Farnham Flares good luck too. They were fantastic opponents and played great football in the spirit that (in our opinion) walking football should be played.
