Oxford United Walking Football Club over 65s were crowned division 3 champions with 10 wins and 5 draws from their 16 league games. The only loss coming against Slough (0-1) in the first round of games, this was to be the only goal conceded all season. It was a slow start by the team as the other 3 games all ended up 0-0.
October was a good round with 4 x 1-0 wins, then in November the goals started to flow with wins over Hemel, 2-0, maidenhead 1-0 and Slough 3-0 to go with a 1-0 awarded win against Tring who failed to show.
In Februarys final round of games we had 0-0 draws with both Hemel and Maidenhead, and beat Slough 1-0, and Tring 2-0.
The scorers throughout the season were Chris Hackley with 7, Steve Hughes with 3, Paul Wright, Andy Beal, and ken Wroe with 1 each, and the awarded goal.
